Michael McGilligan has been appointed as General Manager at Hilton Anatole

Michael D. McGilligan has joined Hilton Anatole as its new General Manager. He comes to the landmark Dallas hotel having most recently served as General Manager of the 860 room Hilton Chicago O’Hare Airport, where in 2016 he was honored as the Illinois Hotel & Lodging Association’s Hotelier of the Year. Prior to moving to Chicago, he was General Manager at Hilton Dallas Lincoln Centre from 2009-2014.A 27-year veteran of the hospitality industry, McGilligan began his career in the Philadelphia Regional Accounting office of Guest Quarters Suites. Subsequently, he served in management positions of increasing responsibility with both DoubleTree by Hilton and Embassy Suites by Hilton in Washington D.C. before being named Hotel Manager of the Embassy Suites-World Financial Center, now Conrad New York. From New York, Michael assumed his first General Manager role at the Embassy Suites by Hilton San Diego-La Jolla until becoming General Manager of Hilton Dallas Lincoln Centre. McGilligan is a graduate of Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Public Relations. He is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
