Sam Chin has been appointed as General Manager at Wanda Reign Wuhan

Mr. Sam Chin has recently been appointed as General Manager of Wanda Reign Wuhan effective 13 October, 2017. He previously held the same position at Wanda Realm Wuhan. In his new role, Mr. Chin will be at the helm of the 413-room iconic city retreat, the first ultra-luxury hotel of Wanda Hotels & Resorts in the very heart of Wuhan city in Central China. Originally from Malaysia, Mr. Sam Chin is a seasoned hotelier with more than 22 years’ working experience in the hospitality industry. He started his professional career in restaurant operations, followed by various positions in the Food and Beverage field in luxury hotels, by which he has gained extensive Food and Beverage operation and management experience. Prior to joining Wanda Hotels & Resorts, Mr. Chin held senior leadership positions at some of the world’s leading hotel groups including Hyatt Hotel Group, InterContinental Hotels Group, Accor Hotel Group and Wyndham Hotel Group. His career footprint spans China, Malaysia, Singapore and Myanmar. Mr. Chin came to China in 2001 and has successfully managed several China luxury hotels for 17 years. He joined Wanda Group in 2013 and has led three hotels successfully with outstanding profitable results in Chongqing, Yinchuan and Wuhan.
