Klaus Christandl has been appointed as General Manager at The St. Regis Bangkok

Starting off October 2017 with a new face and fresh perspective, The St. Regis Bangkok welcomes Klaus Christandl, hospitality industry expert, as its new General Manager. Having amassed over 27 years of experience in the hotel industry, of which a dozen have been as a General Manager, Klaus is no stranger to The St. Regis family. He joins Bangkok’s most desirable address from Singapore’s own, at The St. Regis Singapore. Austrian-born, Klaus Christandl began his hospitality career in Vienna, working his way up the Food & Beverage ladder, with some of the finest brands in the industry, including Mandarin Oriental and 20 years with Starwood Hotels & Resorts. His path has taken him across Asia, the Middle East, North Africa and Europe, including Macau, The Philippines, Thailand, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Egypt, Austria and Singapore. In his latest role with The St. Regis brand, Klaus is fully committed to consolidating The St. Regis Bangkok’s position as ‘The City’s Most Enviable Address’, where a culture of excellence prevails. His intent is to foster continued pride amongst all associates in the products and service of the property, and consistently deliver memorable experiences, tailored to each guest’s unique and discerning expectations.
