Michael Hurley has been appointed as Senior Sales Manager at Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill

Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill proudly announces the appointment of Michael Hurley as senior sales manager for the 838-room hotel located at 400 New Jersey Avenue NW, Washington, D.C. Hurley returns to Hyatt after expanding his career on the U.S. West Coast. He brings more than 14 years of hospitality experience in sourcing and securing sales opportunities to ensure success of several hotels across the country. Hurley joins Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill from Los Angeles, Calif., where he served as a senior sales manager overseeing group sales for two luxury hotels since December 2013. Michael Hurley’s hospitality career began in 2002, at Hyatt Regency Atlanta, where he started as a corporate sales manager trainee and quickly rose through the ranks to become a sales manager. He then moved on to Hyatt Regency Greenwich, where he became a senior sales manager. Hurley later joined Hyatt Regency Reston team, followed by his tenure at Hyatt Regency Century Plaza at Beverly Hills. After the franchising of the Century Plaza property in Los Angeles, Michael decided to stay in the city and joined Marriott.
