Jennifer Tavares was named Director of Sales. Ms. Casillo will be responsible for overall management of the property, its resources, staff, and growth strategy. Ms. Tavares will be responsible for driving sales and related promotion of the property. Both executives bring a wealth of experience in the hospitality sector to their new roles at the Courtyard. For the past decade, Ms. Tavares has led direct sales efforts and sales teams in the hospitality sector. Prior to relocating to Boston to join the Courtyard team, Ms. Tavares was the Area Director of Group Sales for TPG Hotels and Resorts in Providence, Rhode Island. During her tenure, her sales team achieved record-setting revenue gains – generating more than $2 million in revenue each year. From 2008-2011, Ms. Tavares also served as the Senior Sales Manager for TPG Hotels and Resorts in Dedham, Massachusetts. Ms. Tavares studied at Bridgewater State University in Bridgewater, Massachusetts.
