Kim LimonKim Limon, General Manager, of the Hampton Inn Las Colinas hotel located in Irving, TX is recognized with the prestigious “2017 GM of the Year” Award during The Hotel Association’s Annual Gala Awards Extravaganza event hosted in Dallas, TX. The Hotel Association, founded by CEO, Al DeBerry, fosters the growth of its members by transforming the professional landscape within the local hospitality industry by providing its members with measurable value, relevant information and affordable opportunities for operators, management and their sta ff. The festive, holiday-themed evening kicked off with a reception and silent auction in which all proceeds benefited Feeding Texas, an award ceremony followed the sit-down dinner that featured jumbo shrimp and filet mignon. Kim began her hotel career as a front desk agent and quickly promoted to Inn Keeper within six months. In 2005, Kim joined Dimension Development as General Manager of Hampton Inn Las Colinas. Kim is actively involved in her community and sits on the Board of Directors for the Irving Convention and Visitors Bureau’s Hospitality Board and Irving ISD’s School of Culinary Arts & Hospitality. In 2009 and 2010, Kim was honored with the recognition as “The GM of the Year” by Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International DFW chapter.
