Sam Ioannidis has been appointed as General Manager at Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel

Four Seasons veteran Sam Ioannidis has been named General Manager of Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens. Born in Frankfurt to Greek parents, the bilingual Ioannidis grew up in Germany and Greece, eventually heading to Toronto, Canada – the hometown of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts – to earn his hospitality degree and begin his career. Joining the company in 1998, he rose through the ranks in the food and beverage divisions of both urban and resort hotels in North America before heading to Europe for his first General Manager assignment at Four Seasons Hotel Baku. Shortly after, he opened Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island in 2016. Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens is set to open in 2018.
