Felton Clark has been appointed as General Manager at SpringHill Suites by Marriott Lumberton

North Point Hospitality Group, Inc. is pleased to announce industry veteran, Felton Clark, as their 2017 Executive of the Year. Felton first joined the company in February 2002 and has since served in many roles to include his current position as General Manager of the SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Lumberton, NC.

"Felton has always served from the heart and that spirit of hospitality has catapulted him from his first position with us as a Night Manager to the General Manager that he is today."

Since joining North Point Hospitality, Felton took on a variety of roles including, Night Manager, Hotel Training, Front Office Manager, and Assistant General Manager before ultimately being promoted to General Manager. Felton has also assisted in opening multiple North Point Hospitality hotel brands to include a Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton by Hilton in Savannah, GA.

In addition to announcing the 2017 North Point Hospitality Executive of the Year the company is pleased to present a new award; North Point Hospitality Hotel of the Year. The 2017 Hotel of the Year is the Homewood Suites by Hilton Savannah Historic District/Riverfront, led by General Manager, Bryan Cornelius. This award will be given every two years to the hotel that exceeds all expectations and outperforms its goals.
