John Lowe has been appointed as General Manager at The Claridge - A Radisson Hotel
Mr. Lowe's resume spans leadership positions in operations, food and beverage, finance and conference management. He began his career in various area hotels and restaurants, holding management positions at the Wyndham Franklin Plaza in Philadelphia, DoubleTree Suites by Hilton in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania. at the Hilton Wilmington/ Christiana in Newark, Delaware and the Crowne Plaza Wilmington. As an executive for Meyer Jabara Hotels, he served as General Manager of The Holiday Inn Lehigh Valley Conference Center and Area General Manager of Harbor Magic Hotels in Baltimore. More recently, he served as general manager of the Westin Mount Laurel.
Throughout his career, Mr. Lowe has been actively engaged in community relations, spearheading numerous charitable efforts and partnerships with business and community groups.
His contributions to the industry as an executive, mentor and teacher at the University of Delaware have been recognized with numerous Manager of the Year awards, including the American Hotel & Lodging Associations' National Manager of the Year.
Mr. Lowe attended Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas and Glassboro State College, Glassboro, New Jersey. He resides in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey with his wife, Maria, and their two children, Rachael and Brandon.
