Anand Nair has been appointed General Manager of the Taj Aravali Resort & Spa in Udaipur, India. He moves from the Usha Kiran in Gwalior.

This new hotel is the second Taj property in Udaipur, the first being the iconic Lake Palace. It is set in the ancient Aravali range in northwestern Udaipur. With a distinct Rajasthani character, the resort is set within 45 acres of landscaped gardens, offering accommodations from cottages to Swiss Tents.

Guests can enjoy several activities, including nature walks, cookery sessions, and trekking in the Aravalis. The resort was inspired by Rajasthan"s local arts and design, and features a sprawling all-day diner, a specialty restaurant, bar, indoor and outdoor banqueting space, and wellness services at the Jiva spa.
