Rodrigo Rizzi has joined JW Marriott El Convento Cusco as General Manager

JW Marriott El Convento Cusco announces the appointment of Rodrigo Rizzi to the position of General Manager. Mr. Rizzi arrives in Cusco with 18 years of hotel industry experience, including eight years of luxury experience acquired with The Ritz-Carlton and JW Marriott brands.

A native of Brazil, Mr. Rizzi graduated from the Pontificial Catholic University of São Paulo before completing multiple post-graduate degrees in executive leadership, food and beverage, and restaurant branding at Cornell University. Throughout his career with Marriott, he has become well-versed in a number of the hotel ch ain's dynamic brands, including Marriott Hotels, Fairfield Inn, Renaissance and The Ritz-Carlton Reserve, to name a few. Prior to his new post in Cusco, he held general manager positions at the AC Hotel Panama City, ranked #1 in guest satisfaction across all AC Hotels worldwide, and the JW Marriott Panama.
