Luxury video and marketing agency has appointed Alistair Forrest as Director of Caribbean Sales. In his role, Alistair will be contributing in executing VIP Worldwide's growth strategy and strengthening their footprint in the Caribbean.

With Alistair's engaging leadership skills, industry acumen and business relationships, his professional capabilities will help us expand our offering in the Caribbean. Alistair fully appreciates the challenges hoteliers are facing in today's competitive climate. He will be available to present a range of opportunities to help increase revenue and drive more direct bookings through our disruptive technology. These include Virtual Reality experiences with a 'book now' feature.

With a diversified hospitality experience of more than 35 years, Alistair Forrest brings with him an extensive knowledge and a holistic understanding of the luxury hospitality industry in the Caribbean.

A member of the UK's Institute of Hospitality (MIH) he has an impressive CV, having successfully managed hotels and resorts in his native Scotland, the Seychelles, Vietnam, Maldives the UK and Antigua, Barbados, St. Lucia and Nevis in the Caribbean.

His career and experience has seen him work with some of the finest luxury hospitality brands, such as Banyan Tree, Campbell Gray Hotels and Six Senses, he was also opening GM at Carlisle Bay, Antigua. His leadership has been instrumental in his clients gaining many accolades, including Conde Nast Gold list inclusion, AAA 4 diamond Awards and Top 5 positions in Travel and Leisure's World's best hotels. Alistair has also successfully overseen luxury affiliations such as membership of the prestigious Leading Hotels of the World and Virtuoso.

VIP Worldwide's global clientele include the likes of Sandy Lane, Barbados, Royal Mansour, Marrakech, Oetker Collection, Marriot International, The Leading Hotels of the World, Grace Hotels, The Ritz, London, and Four Seasons Hotel and Resorts. These destinations all benefit from our effective, immersive storytelling, which helps them to connect with their audience and drive marketing and sales strategies. Ultimately, it leads to an increase in bookings and revenue, visitor numbers and brand loyalty.

Alistair was a past Chairman of the Antigua Hotels & Tourist Association (AHTA) and Nevis Tourism Authority. He played a critical role in strengthening the two destinations as world-class tourism and travel locations. At present, he is set to tell the story of his remarkable career with his first book about his experiences in the world of luxury hospitality.
