István Kovács has been appointed as General Manager at Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz

István Kovács started his career with Kempinski Hotel Corvinus as a Trainee and built his way through various roles at the Kempinski Hotel Airport Munich, the Kempinski Hotel Haitang Bay and the Grand Kempinski Hotel Shanghai to return to Budapest in 2015 as Hotel Manager.

An inspiring reception was held on April 17, 2018 during a splendid spring day in the Maltese Archipelago. Mr. Kovács praised the legacy of Mr. Hormigo as the foundation to build on and continue the success story of the hotel. Bernold Schröder, Chief Operating Officer Europe, engaged the audience by highlighting the team efforts which have been so paramount in achieving the past milestones.

The owning company was present to pass the testimony bidding farewell and wholeheartedly to welcome István Kovács.
