Veronique Augier Nel has been appointed as Director of Communications & CSR Asia Pacific at AccorHotels

AccorHotels has appointed Veronique Augier Nel to the positon of Director of Communications & CSR Asia Pacific. Veronique has been with AccorHotels Asia Pacific for seven years, overseeing Communications for the group's Talent & Culture team. A graduate of the Lausanne Hotel Management School in Switzerland, she has previously worked with Starwood, Hyatt Hotels and Walt Disney World.

In her new role, Veronique will manage the communications and corporate social responsibility functions for AccorHotels' 980+ hotels and resorts across Asia Pacific, working closely with the existing regional team headed by Gaynor Reid, Vice President Communications & CSR. She will help to deliver strategic communications plans and media liaison while also overseeing the group's strong commitment to the environment and local communities through its wide-reaching Planet 21 program.

Born in Africa to French and Indonesian parents, Veronique was born to travel, having lived in Africa, the Seychelles, Indonesia, Switzerland, France and the USA, although she grew up mostly in Singapore. She is fluent in English, French and Bahasa Indonesian.
