Joel Freyberg has been appointed as General Manager at The Dupont Circle

Freyberg has extensive experience in luxury hospitality management, most recently as Managing Director of the Royalton Park Avenue Hotel (formerly Gansevoort Park Avenue) in Manhattan, New York. Prior to this Freyberg managed and launched The Chatwal Hotel, the first luxury hotel in the heart of the theatre district of New York. As General Manager of The Chatwal Hotel for six years, Freyberg is credited with transitioning the hotel into the Starwood Luxury Collection portfolio as well as securing hotel acceptance into the exclusive Virtuoso Hotel and Resorts program and American Express Fine Hotels and Resorts. Freyberg has also worked at several of the most iconic and luxurious hotels in New York City, including the exclusive Waldorf Towers, The Carlyle and The Mayfair Regent.

Freyberg joins the team as The Dupont Circle is heading into a multimillion dollar transformation of the bar, restaurant, lobby, and Dupont Suite in collaboration with Martin Brudnizki Design Studio and Clodagh Design - set to relaunch in fall 2018.
