Carly de Jong has been appointed as General Manager at Park Inn by Radisson Cape Town Newlands

Carly started her career with Radisson Hotel Group in 2002 as a Service Manager. Throughout her career, she has held numerous positions within Rooms Division in other hotel chains in South Africa. She returned to Radisson Hotel Group in 2014, as Executive Assistant Manager at Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront, Cape Town.

She is a graduate of the STEPS program and more recently a graduate of the 2017 Mentee Program, under the guidance and support of her mentor Marius Wolmarans, General Manager of Radisson Blu Lusaka.

Carly chose to work for Radisson Hotel Group because she subscribes to the company's core principles of ethical and responsible business, as well as people development. She makes Every Moment Matter to our guests by taking note of the often-overlooked details and reminding her team that we are here to serve and there is nothing we cannot do to make their stay more memorable.

Her service philosophy is to get the basics right. Once we have mastered it and all our team members are focused on providing a consistent and high level of service- that is when the magic happens for the guests.
