Cassandra MacVeagh has been named Director of Rooms at The Abbey Resort and Avani Spa
BENCHMARK®, a global hospitality company, has named Cassandra (Casey) MacVeagh director of rooms for The Abbey Resort and Avani Spa. The Benchmark Resorts & Hotelsproperty is located in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Michael Lucero, general manager,made the announcement.
Casey MacVeagh comes to her new role with over two decades of distinguished hospitality experience. She was previously general manager for the Wingate By Wyndham Appleton, located in Appleton, Wisconsin. Throughout her career she gained valuable experience in both Front Office and Housekeeping operations in both the hotel and residential condominium industries, having served as general manager, executive housekeeper, and front office manager.
Ms. MacVeagh is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomonie, Wisconsin, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management with a minor in Human Resource Management. She received her Master's in Management degree from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Ms. MacVeagh is relocating from Oshkosh, Wisconsin, to the Lake Geneva area.
