Ulf Bremer has been appointed as General Manager at Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong

Ulf Bremer, a seasoned hotelier with over two decades' of work experience in travel and hospitality, has been appointed as General Manager of the Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong.

No stranger to Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, Mr Bremer has worked at many flagship Shangri-La properties over a span of 18 years, including in Shanghai, Taipei, Kota Kinabalu, Beijing and Jakarta.

Prior to his current appointment, he was the general manager of Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi in 2017 and of Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong between 2014 and 2017.

A German national, Mr Bremer started his professional hospitality career in Switzerland in 1985.
