Ria Pasco has been appointed as Director of Front Office at InterContinental Mark Hopkins

Ria Pasco joins the InterContinental Mark Hopkins team as Director of Front Office, bringing more than 15 years of hospitality experience to the hotel.

Pasco built her career at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport, working her way from several front desk positions to Assistant Executive in the Housekeeping Department. She later transitioned to reservations and communications management and added the role of Guest Services Manager to her list of responsibilities.

During this period of time, Pasco also assisted in revenue management, stepping in during the absence of the Director of Revenue. In 2009, she accepted the position of Reservations Manager at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco, working across multiple teams and departments on bookings, projections, and revenue goals, among other responsibilities.

An opportunity to build her experience beyond the Bay Area led her to the Hyatt Regency in Jacksonville, Florida where she served as Front Office and Guest Services Manager, overseeing the entire front of house guest experience, managing revenue, cultivating guest relationships, implementing training, and more.

Her interest in working for a luxury hotel brand led her to InterContinental Hotels Group and her new position at the InterContinental Mark Hopkins.
