Michelle Burnett has been appointed as Director of Sales at New Grand Rapids Downtown Hotel
Embassy by Hilton Grand Rapids Downtown, owned and operated by Suburban Inns, today announced that Michelle Burnett has been appointed as the hotel's new director of sales. Embassy Suites by Hilton is a global brand of upscale, all-suite hotels from Hilton (NYSE: HLT).
The 7-story, 250-suite hotel is located at 710 Monroe Ave. The property is currently under construction and is scheduled to open March, 2019. As director of sales, Burnett will be in charge of networking and assessing the needs of local businesses, working with the general manager to facilitate marketing efforts, and overseeing sales initiatives that assure the success of the hotel.
Prior to joining the Embassy Suites by Hilton Grand Rapids Downtown, Burnett has had over 20 years of experience in a variety of sales and marketing roles that span many industries including food and beverage. Most recently as a Corporate Sales/Account Manager for Ferris Coffee and Nut Company. Burnett has been involved with many networking organizations in West Michigan including GR Chamber, Hello West Michigan and Experience Grand Rapids.
