Adam Harper has been appointed as Executive Chef at The Cavendish Hotel
He joins from his position as head chef at the Michelin-starred Fischer's in Baslow where he has been for the last three years.
Prior to this he gained experience at the Fat Duck with Heston Blumenthal, followed by a job at The French in Manchester working under Simon Rogan.
He then moved back to Rowley's, the sister restaurant to Fischer's, where he earned a promotion rising to number two to Rupert Rowley.
The Cavendish Hotel is part of the Devonshire Hotels & Restaurants Group, a collection of luxury hotels and restaurants, located on the Duke of Devonshire's Chatsworth Estate in Derbyshire and Bolton Abbey Estate in Yorkshire, owned and operated by the Chatsworth Trust.
Formerly an 18th century coaching inn, The Cavendish is home to 28 bedrooms and two restaurants - the fine dining Gallery Restaurant and the informal Garden Room - a chef's table for up to four diners in the kitchen and a private dining room.
