Gabriel Soanca has been appointed as Hotel Manager at Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago

A passionate and driven hospitality professional, Soanca joins the award-winning, downtown Chicago hotel with more than 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry at leading properties nationwide. Prior to joining the team at Trump Hotel Chicago, he most recently served as the Executive Assistant Manager at the esteemed InterContinental, Washington D.C. - The Wharf. Previously, he lent his expertise at the iconic Trump National Doral in Miami, where he worked as the Director of Food & Beverage.

In his new role, Soanca will work alongside Constantin to maintain the Forbes Five-Star, AAA Five-Diamond property to its fullest extent. Known for his exceptional team building skills, hands-on leadership and commitment to maximizing profitability, his high level of expertise has earned him a trusted name in the hotel industry.

Soanca began his career in the hospitality industry at the Ritz-Carlton, Cleveland as a Manager in Training. His professional trajectory continued as he joined the opening team of the InterContinental Conference Center in Cleveland, OH. For more than three and a half years, he continued to increase his level of responsibility across the property before moving on to open the group's Montelucia Resort & Spa in Scottsdale as Director of Banquets. There, he gained significant knowledge, especially in rebranding, as the property eventually transitioned to KSL Management.

A former professional European "football" (soccer) athlete, Soanca still enjoys participating in local team games. He is passionate about culture and community, never settles and always finds a way to learn from every experience.
