Oscar Shang has been appointed as Acting F&B Director at Kempinski Hotel Yinchuan

Oscar joins us from St. Regis Lhasa, where he held the position of F&B Manager. He started his hospitality career in 2006, and over the past 13 years, he has had several F&B roles, which include Restaurant Supervisor, Assistant Outlet Manager, Outlet Manager, Assistant Director of F&B Service and F&B Manager in different hotel groups.

A Chinese national, Oscar holds a bachelor's degree, having graduated from Liaoning Party School of Economic Management, and is fluent in both his mother tongue, Mandarin, and English. He started his career at Marriott in Sanya and, throughout his 13-year hospitality career, has worked for Crown Plaza，Sheraton，Renaissance and St. Regis. He has rich experience of F&B operations within luxury brands, and his main focus was driving quality control and increasing the F&B revenues. His acquired extensive operational experience has always helped him find unique and efficient approaches. In his new role as Acting F&B Director of Kempinski Hotel Yinchuan, he will be in charge of the F&B Service team. His immediate priority is to enhance the quality offerings and to drive financial performance whilst maintaining a strict adherence to Kempinski standards and maintaining effective controls.
