Carmie Antongiovanni has been appointed as General Manager at Sonesta ES Suites Chicago Schaumburg
Sonesta International Hotels Corporation is proud to announce the appointment of Carmie Antongiovanni as the General Manager of Sonesta ES Suites Chicago Schaumburg. In this role, Antongiovanni will oversee the daily operational activities of the property and its staff. Working across teams, Antongiovanni will be instrumental in maintaining employee engagement, driving revenue and profitability and ensuring that Sonesta ES Suites Chicago Schaumburg provides guests with more than just a place to stay.
Antongiovanni has over 30 years of experience in the sales/hospitality world. She is already a member of the Sonesta family, most recently serving as the Dual Director of Sales for the Sonesta ES Suites Chicago Schaumburg and Chicago Lombard properties for the last two years. She has been a strong player in the Chicago market and has done an excellent job in her role as Dual DOS. She has led the hotels and her sales team to creating an environment and culture that is fun and inviting, she has supported many open houses at each of her properties, has been fully engaged in the process and given the guests an experience when they come and stay at one of her hotels.
Antongiovanni is now ready for a new challenge in the Operations world as she is taking on the GM role at the Sonesta ES Suites Chicago Schaumburg. The Schaumburg team is excited to have her on board as their new GM.
