Oscar Valles has been appointed as Chef de Cuisine at Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa
Upon receiving his Associate's Degree in Occupational Studies from Le Cordon Bleu, Chef Oscar Valles began his culinary career at Caffe Boa, a local restaurant with an emphasis on organic and all-natural ingredients in Tempe, Arizona. After refining his skills, he embarked on a fresh culinary career path in the hospitality industry as a cook for Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North. He had the opportunity to showcase his diverse expertise as he helped launch the resort's new restaurant concept, Proof, an upscale dining experience focusing on American comfort classics. After three years of crafting dishes at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North, Chef Valles accepted a new position as Chef de Partie at Binkley's Restaurant where he expanded his knowledge of the culinary world as a whole. In years following his time at Binkley's Restaurant, Chef Valles continued his endeavors assisting with opening local upscale restaurants including Hearth 61 at Mountain Shadows Resort and Harvest at Castle Hot Springs. In his time away from the kitchen, you can find Chef Oscar exploring Arizona restaurants with his wife or hitting the hiking trails in Northern Arizona.
