Lulu Dangerfield has been appointed as Executive Chef at Hotel Effie Sandestin

Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort announced today the appointment of Lulu Dangerfield as the new executive chef of Hotel Effie Sandestin. Dangerfield will work alongside James Beard Award-winning Chef Hugh Acheson, who will lead and curate all food and beverage offerings on property.

In her new role, Dangerfield will direct and oversee all food service operations throughout the property. The esteemed chef brings more than 10 years of culinary and hospitality experience to Hotel Effie, with a resume spanning the U.S. and Latin America. Dangerfield will manage the food and beverage team, oversee budgets and provide an exceptional experience for guests. She will collaborate regularly with Hugh Acheson, who has conceptualized all menus for Hotel Effie's four culinary outlets. Dangerfield will help bring Acheson's vision to life through day-to-day execution, along with her own visionary input by serving special menu items that evolve through the seasons.

Upon receiving her bachelor's degree in culinary arts and food and beverage management in Mexico, Dangerfield held positions at prestigious hotels and restaurants, including the Four Seasons Hotel Houston, The Setai Miami Beach and 1 Hotel South Beach. Dangerfield also brings years of event knowledge to her new role at Hotel Effie. She is an expert in executing meals for thousands of meeting, event and wedding attendees, a skill that will go hand-in-hand with the hotel's 20,000 square feet of meeting and event space.
