David Arraya has been appointed as General Manager at Etéreo, Auberge Resorts Collection
Etéreo, Auberge Resorts Collection, a new luxury retreat in Riviera Maya's Kanai destination, is pleased to announce David Arraya as General Manager. A seasoned hospitality professional with over a decade of experience in the luxury hotel space, Arraya will oversee all operations for the oceanfront property that is anticipated to open in late 2021.
Prior to joining Etéreo, Auberge Resorts Collection, Arraya served as General Manager for Hotel Jerome, Auberge Resorts Collection in Aspen, CO. He was also part of the opening team for Auberge's first city hotel, Commodore Perry Estate, Auberge Resorts Collection, in Austin, TX. Previously, Arraya spent five years with Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts at the brand's properties in Lana'i, HI and Austin, TX, where he was Resort Manager and Hotel Manager respectively. Arraya also served as General Manager of EAST Miami, the first hotel in the US for Swire Hotel which he helped open, and was part of the lauded re-opening team of The Pierre, A Taj Hotel in 2009.
Arraya was born and raised in La Paz, Bolivia. He speaks Spanish, English, French and Portuguese fluently, is an avid Manchester United fan, and a proud father of three. Arraya holds a Bachelor's degree in International Business and Hospitality Management from Winthrop University in South Carolina.
