Ferran Sanfelimon

The Asbury Collection has announced the appointment of Ferran Sanfelimon as Managing Director. Drawing upon more than 14 years of leadership experience at upscale independent and branded hotel properties across the U.S, Sanfelimon will now oversee all operations of Asbury Ocean Club, The Asbury Hotel, and Asbury Lanes in the heart of Asbury Park, New Jersey.

Sanfelimon joins The Asbury Collection from Luxe Hotels, where most recently he served as General Manager of Luxe Life Hotel NoMad. Previously, he was the Manager Director/Asset Manager of Atlanta Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Atlanta Downtown & Conference Center, part of the Gansevoort Hotel Group. Sanfelimon's extensive hotel leadership experience goes much further, including positions as Manager Director for properties of the Mark Geragos Hotels portfolio including Capri Southampton Hotel in New York, V Palm Springs Hotel and Pond Estate Luxury Retreat in Palm Springs, California, and Casa Tropicana Hotel in San Clemente, California, as well as General Manager of Liberty National Golf Club and Residences in Jersey City, New Jersey. Additionally, Sanfelimon served as a General Manager for Eurostar Hotels at the Exchange Hotel in New York, as well as The Dylan Hotel in New York, where Luxe Hotels honored him as General Manager of the Year in 2010.

Born and raised in Barcelona, Spain, Sanfelimon earned a Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Hotel and Travel from Barcelona University - CETT. He has also received multiple certifications in hospitality leadership from Cornell University and New York University. Sanfelimon relocated from Barcelona to New York City in 1999, and continues to reside there with his wife Clara and their beloved chocolate lab Bella.
