Jerome Strack has been appointed as General Manager at Mar Monte Hotel, part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt
The new Mar Monte Hotel, part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand, today announces the appointment of Jerome Strack as General Manager. In his new role, Strack will lead the hotel team and oversee all operations of the beachfront boutique luxury hotel, including property performance, guest experience, and human resource activities.
A seasoned hotelier with 40 years of hospitality experience, Strack brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise from the numerous hotels and hospitality groups he has worked with over the span of his career, including multiple properties in California. Most recently, Strack served as General Manager at The Moran CityCentre in Houston, TX, and prior to that served as General Manager at The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe, A Tribute Portfolio Resort & Spa. His previous experience also includes hospitality roles with Warwick International Hotels, Horizon Hospitality, Saguaro Ranch Development Corporation, The Graciela Hotel Burbank (currently Hotel Amarano), the Millennium Biltmore Hotel, Millennium Riverfront Hotel, Wyndham Palm Springs, Palm Springs Marquis Resort, Sheraton Monterey and Sheraton Grand Hotel. Prior to that, he held various hotel positions in Europe.
Strack is an accomplished leader with a progressive style of management, with a proven track record improving market share, employee satisfaction and customer satisfaction while improving profitability for hotels and hospitality companies. He is a strategic thinker and creative innovator who thinks outside of the box to help companies grow.
Passionate about horses, Mr. Strack and his wife breed Arabian show horses and have done so for the past 30+ years.
