Carly Skinner has been named General Manager at Hotel Emeline

Makeready, a hotel, restaurant and retail operator and management company, announced today that Carly Skinner has been named general manager at Emeline. Skinner joins the group after serving as general manager at Hotel June (Proper Hospitality) located in Los Angeles.

As general manager, Skinner will be responsible for managing the overall hotel operations of Emeline, including oversite of hotel staff, budget and guest satisfaction. Skinner will work closely with the Makeready leadership team to achieve the highest level of hospitality, delivering guests a unique and memorable experience.

Skinner joins Makeready with more than 14 years of management experience in the hospitality industry. Prior to joining Emeline, Skinner was at Proper Hospitality's Hotel June, located in Los Angeles, where she acted as general manger overseeing all operational and financial aspects of the property, including its 250 hotel rooms, 75-seat restaurant, 50-seat lobby, 80-seat pool and 2000-sq. ft. event space. Additionally, Skinner's experience in the hospitality industry extends through her management roles where she previously served as hotel manager at Chateau Marmont (Andre Balazs Properties), hotel manager for Dream Hollywood (Dream Hotel Group), director of rooms for The Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows (FHRI), director of guest services in New York City for Dream Downtown (Dream Hotel Group), restaurant manager in New York City for David Burke Kitchen at the James Hotel (The Burke Group) and principle at the New York based Donatella Group.
