Hōkūala, an expansive 450-acre resort community currently being developed by Timbers Resorts, has welcomed seasoned hospitality and real estate professional, Carrie Bligh, as its Operations Director. In this recently established role, Bligh oversees operations across the entire Hōkūala masterplanned community, from its impressive array of amenities to its signature five-star hospitality and residential development, Timbers Kaua΄i at Hōkūala. The creation of this role, and Bligh's strategic appointment, aligns with Timbers forthcoming plans to announce the second phase of its Hōkūala masterplan.
Bligh brings decades of experience in the luxury hospitality and real estate industries, most recently serving as Director of Operations - Hospitality at Timbers Resorts' corporate headquarters in Winter Park, Florida where she oversaw all Owner and guest experiences by driving consistency and continuity through strong training and employee cultural initiatives. Prior to her role on Timbers' corporate team, she served as General Manager of Timbers Jupiter, overseeing operations and owner experience at the luxury residence club in Jupiter, Florida.
Originally from St. Louis, Mo., Bligh has a passion for supporting local communities, and is especially drawn to volunteering at organizations dedicated to reducing marine trash and cleaning coastlines, such as the Loggerhead Marinelife Center and The Jupiter Lighthouse Foundation in Jupiter, Fla, as well as the Surfrider Foundation of Palm Beach, Fla. She currently resides in Kaua΄i where she spends her leisure time exploring the shores of the Garden Island through SUP, boating, fishing and SCUBA diving.
