Tara Rothberg has been appointed as Hotel Manager at Kimpton Marlowe Hotel

Kimpton Marlowe Hotel is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Tara Rothberg as Hotel Manager for the award-winning, recently renovated 237-guestroom hotel which overlooks the Charles River in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

As Hotel Manager, Rothberg will work closely with the hotel's General Manager, and will oversee all aspects of the hotel operation including the following guest-facing departments: Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Services, Valet, Property Operations and Maintenance. In addition, she'll be responsi ble for ensuring that all guests are completely satisfied with their hotel stays and will develop and supervise programs that promote a positive work environment for all Kimpton Marlowe Hotel associates.

Tara Rothberg

Rothberg has years of boutique hotel and restaurant management experience, having most recently served as General Manager of No Rooms Tonight a.k.a Holiday House Hotel in Palm Springs, California. Prior to that, she worked for Cape Resorts Group in Cape May, New Jersey. Here she served as General Manager for several of the Group's boutique hotels including The Virginia Hotel & Cottages and Baron's Cove in Sag Harbor, NY. She was also General Manager of C/O Hotels' The Maidstone Hotel in East Hampton, New York.

Rothberg is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, College of Arts and Sciences, where she earned a Bachelors of Arts in American History. She rec eived her Masters of Science in Strategic Communications from Ithaca College's Park School of Communications. And she's a Certified Etiquette Coach and regularly volunteers with organizations that teach teenage girls in detention centers and group homes the art of proper social etiquette in order to boost self-confidence and personal esteem. Rothberg resides in Charlestown, MA and in her spare time enjoys horseback riding, yoga, reading and traveling to her all-time favorite place to visit, Bozeman, MT.
