Panos holds several distinctions in sales management, operations and hotel management in Greece and abroad. In 2014, he was named European Hotel Manager by EHMA.

The Grand Hyatt Athens - the second venture of Hyatt Hotels Corporation in Greece - opened its doors in 2018.
