Langham Hospitality has appointed Philip Ding as Head of Operations, Vice President China.
Based in the Shanghai Corporate Office for mainland China, Philip will oversee the China portfolio of hotels and resorts, leading all aspects of the group's operations including sales, revenue, marketing, food and beverage, human resources, finance as well as design and technical service.Philip has over 25 years of experience in travel and hospitality. Most recently he served as Head of Commercial Performance, Greater China for InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) where he also led several milestone projects, including the inauguration and launch of Hualuxe Brand and prominent hotel projects in the gateway cities in United States of America.
Born and raised in China, Philip holds a MSc Tourism and Hospitality Management from Sheffield Hallam University in the UK.
