Yovana Segarra has been appointed as General Manager at Residence Inn Panamá City

Marriott International is pleased to announce the appointment of Yovana Segarra as General Manager of the Residence Inn Panama City hotel, becoming the first woman in Panama to simultaneously serve as General Manager of three hotels of the Marriott International portfolio in Panama City.
In her new position as Multiproperty General Manager, Segarra will be in charge of managing the Residence Inn Panama City, the Marriott Executive Apartments Panama - Finisterre and the AC Hotel Panama City.Yovana Segarra is a hospitality leader with more than 25 years of experience, with a proven and successful record in many areas of the industry, including hotel management, revenue management, sales and marketing, food and beverage operations, and management.

During her professional career she has served as General Manager of several properties in Panama. In addition, she held various leadership positions at both Westin Playa Bonita and Westin Panama, including Director of Revenue Administration and Director of Operations.
She also worked for several years at the Sheraton Grand Panama Hotel and Convention Center where she held multiple leadership roles from 2004 to 2009, including Director of Sales and Marketing and Director of Revenue Management.

Yovana is graduate of the Technological University of Panama. In her free time, she enjoys going to the movies with her husband, traveling, and spending time with her family at the beach.
