Roberto Verdino has been appointed as SVP revenue management at Silversea Cruises
Monaco-based Verdino has over 15 years of experience at Costa Cruises and Royal Caribbean International, and spent time in the hospitality industry. He has a track record of leading successful teams throughout Europe and Asia, implementing strategies to maximise revenue opportunities.
'I am thrilled to join Silversea Cruises during this exciting period of growth,' Verdino, an Italian national, commented. 'I look forward to working with my team to strengthen the cruise line's commercial presence worldwide, focusing on developing its pricing strategies and market intelligence approaches to maximise international revenue opportunities.'
After studying business management at the University of Salerno, Verdino completed the general management programme at the ESCP business school.
Verdino will be reporting to CCO Barbara Muckermann.
