He officially took up his position on January 5, 2026, succeeding Louis Starck, who was appointed General Manager of Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo at the end of last September. With an impressive international career in prestigious hotel establishments, Guillaume Ranvier will now bring his expertise and ultra-luxury experience to one of Monaco’s most iconic hotels. Arriving directly from the Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris, where he served as Hotel Manager, Guillaume Ranvier now leads Hôtel Hermitage, a connoisseurs’ hotel currently undergoing transformation.

Louis Starck has been appointed as General Manager at Hotel de Paris Monte-Carlo

After leading the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo with talent and commitment since 2018, Louis Starck has been appointed General Manager of the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo. He officially took office on September 29, succeeding Olivier Thomas, who has moved on to new international opportunities. Hôtel Métropole Monte‑Carlo has opened a new destination for serenity and relaxation in the heart of the Principality: The Spa Métropole by Guerlain. In collaboration with the House of Guerlain, the spa embodies holistic wellbeing, guided by the expertise of two exceptional houses, and is the only Spa by Guerlain in Monaco. It represents a key milestone in the hotel's renovation, which will also introduce new rooms, later this summer.

Pascal Camia has been named Gaming Director at Société de Bains de Mer

The Société des Bains de Mer has annouced a new general director of gaming. Pascal Camia, who has been the director of the Hôtel Hermitage, holds a Master of Economics, a hotel management degree and a Corporate MBA. Mr Camia joined the Société des Bains de Mer in 1994, after various professional experiences abroad and in Paris. He will be replacing John Galvani, who, according to the Société, brought essential technical and international expertise to the company. A representative said of Mr Galvani: "The company reiterates its sincere thanks for his contribution."

Pierre Ferchaud has been named General Manager at Hôtel Métropole

From 1st November, the Hôtel Metropole Monte-Carlo will welcome Pierre Ferchaud as General Manager. He replaces Jean-Claude Messant who is now the Manager of Royal Mansour. Pierre Ferchaud graduated from the l’Ecole Hôtelière in Strasbourg and began his career in 1978 working at Grosvenor House Hotel in London followed by Le Meurice in Paris and then The Hotel Palace in Madrid. He was given functional as well as operational responsibilities, allowing him to acquire the necessary knowledge to join the American Marriott Group as General Manager at the Hotel Prince de Galles in 1983.
