Daniele Vastolo has been appointed General Manager of the LUX* Grand Baie, Mauritius.

With over two decades of experience and leadership in luxury hospitality and wellbeing, Daniele joins the luxury resort from the Zulal Wellness Resort by Chiva-Som in Qatar, where he was also GM.

Before that, Daniele worked as General Manager of the Kempinski Summerland Hotel & Resort in Lebanon, and was based in Dubai for seven years as Group Director of Operations at Nikki Beach Hotels & Resorts - EMEA.

Daniele also spent six and a half years with Shangri-La in Cebu, Kuala Lumpur, Boracay and Fiji, and 3 years with Constance Hotels, Resorts and Golf in Seychelles.

After studying at the School of Hotel Management in Napoli, Italy, Daniele achieved a diploma in Hospitality Administration and Management from Cornell University's General Manager Programme.

Married with four daughters, Daniele is fluent in French, English and Italian.
