Melroy Fernandes has been appointed as Director of Food & Beverage at Corinthia Lisbon

The appointment strengthens Corinthia Lisbon's existing Food and Beverage strategy and consolidates our restaurants and bars operations. Mr. Fernandes, who is originally from Goa, will oversee Corinthia Lisbon's restaurants and bars, which includes the established and successful Erva restaurant and bar, Soul Garden, the Tempus Lounge Bar renovation, and relaunched project with a brand-new concept. Melroy will also lead the introduction of the Lobby Lounge concept with bar and afternoon tea service, the Spa Lounge, In Room Dining and private dining and events.

Focused on Guest and team enhancement, Melroy Fernandes joins Corinthia Lisbon with a track record of 20 years in luxury hospitality operations.

His extensive background in hospitality covers roles at exotic locations like, Maldives, Dubai, Cyprus, Thailand with brands like, St. Regis, One & Only, Soneva, Six Senses, Kanika Hotels and the historic San Clemente Palace Kempinski, Venice as Director of Food & Beverage.

In his journey to ´Uplift Lives´, he joins us at the Corinthia Lisbon, to make a difference.

Melroy Fernandes holds a degree in Hospitality Management and a Master Sommelier from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust. Mr Fernandes was nominated by Caterer Awards 2015 for being one among the Top 5 Sommeliers in the Middle East (GCC).
