Lachlan Hoswell has been appointed as Managing Director of Australasia at Radisson Hotel Group

Radisson Hotel Group has today announced the appointment of Lachlan Hoswell as Managing Director, Australasia. The appointment comes as the Group continues to bolster its presence in the region, delivering on its recently announced APAC Expansion Plan, which named Australasia as a key strategic market for the business.

In his new role, Hoswell will spearhead Radisson Hotel Group's growth in the region, a role that will see him leverage on his experience in the hospitality industry which spans more than two decades. Prior to joining the Group, Hoswell held leadership roles in APVC Holdings Pty Limited, a subsidiary of Accor Hospitality, as well as senior positions at Wyndham Vacation Resorts South Pacific, and Daikyo Australia. Most recently, he held the position of Company Director, General Counsel and Commercial Officer of Minor Hotels Australia and New Zealand. During his time there, Hoswell led development for the group that saw it grow by over 50% in key hotel markets such as Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Auckland, and Wellington. Hoswell has extensive experience in negotiating hotel management agreements, hotel leases and franchise agreements. In conjunction with leading development he also oversaw the legal and property asset teams.

In his position as Managing Director, Australasia, Hoswell will be supporting his team and driving the growth of the Group's portfolio across major towns, cities and upcoming destinations across Australia and New Zealand. He will also lead operations and be responsible for all strategic initiatives in the region, working closely with key business partners to strengthen Radisson Hotel Group's branding in-market. Hoswell will be based in the recently established Australian Business Unit in Sydney.
