Cristina Muku has been appointed as Director of Sales & Marketing at JW Marriott Grosvenor House London

JW Marriott Grosvenor House London is delighted to announce the appointment of Cristina Muku as Director of Sales and Marketing for the 496-room iconic property and first hotel on Park Lane, renowned for its Great Room venue.

With over 25 years in the hospitality industry and recently promoted from Director of Sales at JW Marriott Grosvenor House, Cristina currently oversees key segments including the Middle East market, entertainment, sports, diplomatic, and directly responsible for luxury Consortia; securing the hotel's position within the top 10 performers for Marriott's luxury leisure travel partner program. In her new role, Cristina will oversee the hotel's sales and marketing strategy and continue to drive revenue growth.

Cristina began her career with Marriott International in 1998 as a Manager in Training at the Denver Marriott City Centre. After this she moved back to her home country, Brazil, and held several sales leadership roles at the Renaissance Sao Paulo and oversaw the pre-opening for the iconic JW Rio de Janeiro. Finishing her 10 years tenure as Director of Groups, Cristina moved to Miami where she spent four years as Director of Corporate Accounts for JW Marriott Miami and managed her fourth pre-opening for JW Marriott Marquis Miami.

In 2011, Cristina moved to the UK as Director of Sales for Marriott's London Sales Office and in 2018, joined Grosvenor House. More recently Cristina supported with the hotel's post-pandemic recovery and now continues to drive the property's sales strategy.

Cristina Muku is an alumnus of Swiss Hotel Management School - SHMS – Class of 2000.
