Tomas Diaz has been appointed as Executive Chef at Embassy Suites by Hilton Nashville Downtown

Embassy Suites by Hilton Downtown Nashville — the largest Embassy Suites by Hilton hotel in the US, located in the heart of Music City — is excited to announce the appointment of highly experienced Chef Tomas Diaz to the position of Executive Chef of Harmony Restaurant and The Overlook.

As the new Executive Chef, Diaz will oversee all culinary operations at two of the hotel's restaurants, The Overlook, Nashville's highest rooftop bar in the city, and Harmony, Embassy's complimentary made-to-order breakfast and Evening Reception. He'll also oversee the Grab-and-go items at the hotel's coffee shop, Good Citizen. In each of these settings, Diaz will lead his team in crafting an unparalleled dining experience for guests traveling from near and far.

Diaz brings over 15 years of experience and knowledge to his new position. Most recently, he was the Executive Chef for Fortune House Hotel Suites in Miami, Florida where he gained a wide variety of culinary experience working with American and Latin fusion cuisines at the hotel's onsite restaurant, Madison's Restaurant & Bar. Prior to making his mark as a chef, Chef Diaz studied and earned his Food and Beverage Management degree at Johnson & Wales University in North Miami.
