Christophe Rull has been appointed as Executive Pastry Chef at Hotel Bel-Air

Denise Flanders, General Manager of Hotel Bel-Air, has appointed Christophe Rull as executive pastry chef of Hotel Bel-Air. In this role, Rull is responsible for overseeing the pastry offerings at the iconic hotel, including in the Restaurant at Hotel Bel-Air, the popular Bar & Lounge, in-room dining, and banquets and events. Christophe is a French-born pastry chef with more than 20 years of experience. His career took off in a Michelin Star restaurant when he was only 16 and he has since worked in the most prestigious international establishments, participated in international competitions, and has been a part of Netflix's Bake Squad. In 2021, Christophe won "U.S. Chocolate Master" at the World Chocolate Masters' American semifinals in Chicago at age 36. Then in the fall of 2022, he competed at the 2021-22 World Chocolate Masters event in Paris, placing fifth overall.

Prior to his time training and competing for the World Chocolate Masters', Christophe was executive pastry chef at Park Hyatt Aviara Carlsbad, California, assistant executive pastry chef at MGM Grand Las Vegas and Aria Resorts & Casino Las Vegas. Christoph studied at CFA Sainte Victoire, Aix en Provence where he took courses in B.P Cuisine and C.A.P Patisserie.
