Deepak Mehra has been appointed as General Manager at Conrad Los Angeles

Conrad Los Angeles has announced the appointment of its new general manager Deepak Mehra who brings more than 25 years of luxury hospitality industry experience to the table in his new role. Leading the delivery of exceptional service, Mehra will provide strategic management and direction to ensure guest satisfaction across all aspects of the resort, including operations, programming, community outreach, and food and beverage.

Prior to joining the team at Conrad Los Angeles, Mehra held the position of area general manager at Viceroy Hotels & Resorts where he was responsible for commercial, operational and financial performance of two of the brands
diverse hotels with combined revenues exceeding $75 million per year. He also served as general manager for Hilton Woodland Hills in Los Angeles and Kimpton Hotels, where he assisted with opening and transition of the luxury
boutique-lifestyle hotel brand of IHG Hotels & Resorts in San Francisco. Throughout his career, Mehra also served as director of operations for Raffles L'Ermitage in Beverly Hills and had the opportunity to work for Hyatt Hotels &
Resorts around the world, including Hyatt Regency in Greenwich, Grand Hyatt in Singapore and Hyatt Regency in New Delhi, India.

Originally from India, Mehra is a sports enthusiast with a passion for travel and adventure. Having visited over 33 countries, Mehra aims to bring his varied perspective to the luxury property while delivering exceptional experiences to visitors and locals alike for years to come. Mehra earned his MBA in Hospitality Administration from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI and his Bachelors in Hotel Management from Institute of Hotel Management in India. He resides in Los Angeles with his wife and daughter.
