Howard Johnson By Wyndham in New Town-Kolkata, India, is pleased to announce the appointment of Shashank Menon as the hotel's General Manager.
In his new role, Menon will serve as a brand ambassador, providing leadership and direction to all hotel departments. He will be responsible for driving sales, marketing, and financial goals, ensuring the hotel's success.
Before joining Howard Johnson-By Wyndham Kolkata Airport, Menon was General Manager for Sarovar Hotels & Resorts, a property owned by Louvre Hotels Group in Bangalore. In this capacity, he demonstrated exceptional leadership, maximizing sales, marketing, and revenue while achieving strong financial returns.
Menon, originally from Cochin, Kerala, holds an MBA in International Business Management from the Business Administrations: International Business Management Institute Berlin and a Diploma in Hospitality Management from Alison, an Irish online education platform, in partnership with the Institute of Continuing Professional Development UK. He also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel & Catering Management from the Confederation of Hotel & Catering Management UK - IAM-Kolkata.
