Niall Dunne has been promoted to General Manager at Newpark Hotel Kilkenny
Niall started out at on his hospitality journey 23 years ago in Hayes's hotel in Thurles. He then moved on to start his hospitality training 21 years ago in the Newpark hotel as part of their trainee management programme. Once completed Niall went on to further studies in GMIT earning a bachelor's degree in Hotel and Catering management.
Within his career Niall has overseen and been part of over 2000 weddings in the Newpark Hotel. He has worked in every department, both front and back of house within the Newpark hotel, from housekeeping to the kitchens to all F&B departments and management roles within the hotel. COVID lockdowns provided Niall with an opportunity to think outside the box and get creative with the hotel's social media videos and with many of them going viral across all social media platforms these videos have received over 200million views and have cultivated amazing positive engagement with our customers.
Niall Dunne is an alumnus of Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology – Class of 2008.
