Amit Gera has been appointed as General Manager at Novotel Chennai Chamiers Road
In his new role, Amit will oversee the complete operations and management of the hotels, along with the senior leadership teams. He will ensure the highest levels of guest engagement, and profitability and continue to build on the positioning and reputation of Novotel Chennai Chamiers Road.
Amit brings 23 Years of Experience in all facets of management, including Five Diamond Stars awarded Deluxe Hotels. He excels in handling and supervising large staff and overseeing revenues with comprehensive experience in Operational planning, business strategy evaluation, concept creativity, and guest interaction.
Amit started his hospitality career in the year 2000 with The Oberoi Hotel and subsequently held multiple roles in culinary and operations with brands like Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Leela, and ITC.
Amit was appointed as Director of Operations at Hilton Chennai in 2018 before assuming his most recent assignment as Corporate General Manager at Sayaji Group of Hotels managing a portfolio of 20 hotels with an additional charge of General manager of their flagship property at Sayaji Indore for over two years where he established the brand in the competitive market and ensured that it achieved great success.
