Chelan's career in the hospitality industry began in 2007, taking on the role of Senior Director of Marketing for Four Seasons Mauritius and Four Seasons Seychelles. Over the years, his journey led him to Dubai, where he oversaw marketing for Jumeirah Beach and Dubai DIFC Four Seasons properties. Chelan Goonetilleke has been an invaluable member of the Whistler team since 2017, when he joined as a Director of Marketing. His journey at the resort continued to evolve, taking on the role of Hotel Manager in 2021, where he has consistently achieved remarkable results. Under his leadership, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler has achieved record financial success, received multiple prestigious awards, and achieved unparalleled guest satisfaction scores.
Beyond his professional endeavours, Chelan finds joy in spending quality time with his family, including his wife Dee and their children Aniika, Maya, and Liam. He's also an enthusiast of exploring new cocktail bars, hitting the golf course, and indulging in his passion for skiing.
