Jim Hollister has been appointed as General Manager at Margaritaville Hotel San Diego Gaslamp Quarter
Margaritaville Hotel San Diego Gaslamp Quarter is pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Hollister as General Manager. With an exceptional background in hospitality and operations leadership, Hollister brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of driving sustainable growth, enhancing guest experiences, and achieving outstanding sales results. In his role as General Manager, Hollister will manage and oversee daily hotel operations, maintain standards for guest satisfaction, and provide leadership and direction to the staff at Margaritaville Hotel San Diego Gaslamp Quarter.
Hollister joins Margaritaville Hotel San Diego Gaslamp Quarter from Graduate Hotels, where he served as Regional Vice President providing regional operational support to seven West Coast hotels including in Eugene, Seattle, Dallas, Tucson, Tempe, Berkeley, and Palo Alto. Previously, he held a regional leadership position with Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants in Southern California for 17 years.
A seasoned manager, Hollister held tenure with Kimpton as General Manager at Hotel Palomar in Phoenix as well as FireSky Resort & Spa in Scottsdale, in which both properties were voted as a "Best Place to Work" for several consecutive years. He also held numerous General Manager positions within Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. Hollister has earned countless awards and accolades throughout the years, from General Manager of the Year with Wyndham to the coveted Bill Kimpton Award and Valley of the Sun General Manager of the Year.
