Darius Shalforoosh has been appointed as General Manager at Kimpton Hotel Enso
Kimpton Hotel Enso announced today the appointment of Darius Shalforoosh as general manager. In this role, Shalforoosh will oversee the management and operation of the 131-room property, located in the heart of San Francisco's Japantown.
Shalforoosh's tenure with Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants spans 14 years and seven properties, having most recently served as assistant general manager at Kimpton Hotel Eventi in New York City, a position he held since 2021.
Shalforoosh started his career with Kimpton in 2009 at Nine Zero Hotel in Boston. He quickly rose through the ranks, holding various positions at landmark properties throughout the East Coast, including guest services manager at The Muse Hotel in New York City, assistant director of housekeeping at EPIC, A Kimpton Hotel in Miami, and director of housekeeping at Kimpton Surfcomber Hotel in South Beach. He then spent several years on the corporate task force team, serving as assistant general manager at Kimpton Taconic Hotel in Manchester, Vt.; supported people & culture efforts focused on hiring and onboarding associates during the opening of Kimpton Key West; and was acting restaurant manager for Area31 at EPIC, a luxury boutique Kimpton hotel. In 2021, Shalforoosh landed in New York City at Kimpton Hotel Eventi, where he was quickly appointed assistant general manager.
Darius Shalforoosh is an alumnus of University of Massachusetts Amherst – Class of 2009.
